Got School on My Mind

No, not homeschooling (although we are in our summer session). School for me. More college.

I love to learn. I love to research for papers and find out all I can. Pastor B has commented several times in the past that I missed my calling and should be a detective. I love the medical field and I miss it, but nursing is just not the route I feel is best for me. The hours (because I would want to work in the hospital ICU) is really not conducive to being a Pastor's wife. So what do I want to be when I grow up?

Well over the last several months I have been thinking, evaluating and trying to decide what area of healthcare would suit me best. I have decided on Nutritionist with psycho-therapy involvement. Specifically, I want to work with women in the areas of fertility (including PCOS and insulin resistance), pregnancy and heart health. (In the mean time, I will most likely be obtaining my Doula certification) This is going to take years to finish, I know that, I am okay with that. But starting the process is on my mind. As I journey toward my various degrees needed, I'll finish my own journey to health and wellness as well.

I am excited for all the good things in our future, some immediate, some afar off. Time to dust off my research skills.
