My Own Baby Food? Probably Part 1

In keeping with the theme of losing my mind and going back to "the olden days" for several areas of my life (except my ozone killing hairspray) I am now considering making my own baby food.

You know, since I have so much free time.

I made some baby food when Makiah was a baby, but I wasn't really committed to it, and eventually Gerber won out. That's when their Organic baby food was called Tender Harvest. I liked that name and the packaging was pleasing to look at (not that Makiah cared) and the variety of food was amazing. They had very interesting combos on the stage 2 food, but alas, I am getting off course here.

Back to the topic.

I am currently doing research online concerning this, but I am interested in what you, my readers (all four of you) have to say about this. What is your opinion, have you made your own baby food, did you find it to be a hassle or just part of the routine, was it super time consuming??? So many questions people, so many questions!!

Trying to save some $$$ and feed my baby the best I can.
